About HAAQ Workforce Training Institute

Founded in 2025, HAAQ Workforce Training Institute (HAAQ-WTI) is a union-led, legally registered vocational training institution committed to advancing ethical labor mobility from Somalia to Saudi Arabia. With a training capacity of 2,000 trainees per 16-week cycle, HAAQ-WTI delivers structured and standards-aligned programs across various sectors. The institute operates from its headquarters in Mogadishu and maintains a vast 10,000-hectare training campus in Awdal Region, strategically positioned near Djibouti and Ethiopia for regional accessibility.

Our team comprises 50 professional vocational trainers and 5 IT and data officers, ensuring both technical and digital excellence in every training cycle. HAAQ-WTI's model is strongly anchored in international labor compliance, working in partnership with the International Labour Organization (ILO) and under the regulatory frameworks of Somalia, Saudi Arabia, and other GCC labor laws

We provide all successful trainees with QR-coded digital worker IDs and union-backed certifications that verify skill levels and legal readiness for employment abroad. Training is delivered in Somali, Arabic, and English, reinforcing both technical capacity and cultural integration. HAAQ-WTI remains dedicated to dignified, safe, and transparent labor migration, in full alignment with ILO standards and Saudi labor policies.

Our Vision

A Somalia where every unemployed youth has a legal, safe, and empowering path to work abroad - especially in Saudi Arabia - through a union-driven, transparent, and professionally certified workforce training system.

Our Mission

To train and deploy Somalia’s youth for dignified, lawful, and skilled employment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the strictest adherence to International Labor Organization (ILO) standards, Saudi labor law, and Somali legal frameworks. We aim to eliminate fraud, protect migrant rights, and build a trustworthy labor mobility system.
